How to wash: inside out or not?
When you wash your clothes, they rub against one another, which causes them to give off a little of their dye and material each time.
This is why you should always wash your laundry inside out. The abrasion is particularly evident at seams and edges. Most notably, you will be able to see this on jeans, which develop light-coloured abraded edges.
White laundry, in contrast, turns grey due to abrasive wear because the nap on the fibres is raised and no longer reflects the light correctly. So if you want to keep your clothes in good condition for longer, turn them inside out before you wash them.
