How to clean the water supply filter?
If you notice that no water or very little water is flowing into the washing machine, you will need to clean the water supply filter. If you live in a hard-water area, it’s recommended to clean it every 6 months so that the valve does not become blocked.
Step by step guide: Relieve the water pressure in the supply hose first
1. Turn off the tap.
2. Select any programme (except Rinse/Spin/Empty).
3. Start the programme.
4. Allow the programme to run for approximately 40 seconds, then switch off the appliance.
5. Pull out the mains plug.
For models with Aquastop – step by step guide:
- Disconnect the hose from the tap
- Clean the filter with a small brush
- Connect the hose and check for leaks
- Connect the mains plug
Warning: Risk of electric shock!
The Aqua-Stop contains an electric valve. There is a risk of electric shock if you immerse the Aqua-Stop safety valve in water. Do not immerse the safety valve in water.
